Stephen Taylor was appointed President and COO of Morguard Investments Limited in 2002. In this role, he is responsible for overall leadership and management of Morguard Investments Limited. Stephen sets strategic direction and policy for the company's asset and property management operations, for new business development and for the management of relationships with the company's investment clients, tenants and suppliers. Stephen joined Morguard in 2000 and previously served as Senior Vice President, Asset Management.
Stephen holds an MPhil (Management Studies) from Oxford University and an Honours BSc (Mathematics and Physics/Geography) from the University of Toronto. Stephen is a Director of the Real Property Association of Canada (REALPac). His community involvement includes serving as past Chairman and Director, Covenant House and as a Director, Catholic Children's Aid Society.

Derek Warren’s deep expertise in real estate is built on 15 years of experience with Morguard. He began his career reviewing legal documents for large property transactions. For the past 12 years, Derek has been responsible for analysis of REITs and real estate companies and for management of several real estate portfolios including the Lipper Award winning CIBC Canadian Real Estate Fund and the Morguard Real Estate Equity Fund.
As a respected and influential member of the tight-knit Canadian REIT community, Derek’s opinion is sought by REIT management and investors alike. He appears regularly in the press and on BNN Television to share his view, and is a member of the Capital Markets Committee of the Real Property Association of Canada (REALPac).
Derek also publishes the Oenophile, a periodic blog on selecting quality, value-priced wines. Originally from Saskatchewan, Derek lives in Mississauga with his wife and four children and, with his fluency in Spanish, volunteers his time working with new Canadians in the Latin community.
